Created back in 2012, Borboleta Joaillerie originated from the idea of little treasure pieces that would provide women with a daily dose of magic. The Borboleta symbol was created – a gold plated butterfly on thread soon became a classic seen on wrists worldwide.
The butterfly effect was in motion, and Borboleta developed from a single thread bracelet to numerous jewelry collections. As the Borboleta name and assortment grew, online presence also needed to grow. It was time to upgrade the store that customers could visit 24/7. We helped create an online corner of the beautiful Borboleta world, enabling a wide audience to shop their favorite bracelets in a few simple steps.
While brainstorming an ideal Borboleta webshop, we figured that less is more – a simple, functional solution was the way to go. Whether it’s a gift for a loved one, or a piece they have been eyeing for themselves for a while, the Borboleta moto never left our minds: happy girls are the prettiest. And what can make a girl happier than quick and smooth online shopping!
From the initial concept to the finishing touches, we did our best to deliver a webshop that makes the butterflies shine.

The main priority for this project was to improve UI and UX, and create a product-focused webshop with a fresh, minimalistic design. The main thought was ‘simple elegance’ – Borboleta products speak for themselves, and we gave them room to do so.
We modernized and redesigned the shop in accordance with Borboleta’s core values and target customers, also implementing features to make shopping as easy as possible. Instagram shopping integration, easy engraving, and automated gifts for orders over a certain value? All there, reminding you to settle for nothing less than butterflies.
From the start of the project I was happy with amondi’s passion and their serious approach to the project. Communication and overall organization was excellent during the whole project.
