The Problem
BOX NOW runs parcel locker networks in Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria. They had no Shopify presence at all.
On paper the brief was simple. Let shoppers choose a locker, show the right shipping price, let merchants print labels without leaving Shopify. In practice the platform fought back. Shopify was closing off checkout script injection, with hard deadlines, just as the project started. And its live rates API is not available on entry-level plans, which is exactly where most of the merchant base sits.
The Build
With no third-party scripts allowed in checkout, we designed four integration points instead of one. Shoppers can pick a locker on the official BOX NOW map in the cart, choose from the five nearest lockers as a shipping option in checkout, or use interactive locker maps on the thank-you and order status pages. Merchants choose the mix that suits their store, and shoppers can still change locker after paying.
The Bulgarian app runs on the same codebase. The new work there was the market itself: currency, Cyrillic translations, phone formats and shipping tiers by weight.

- Automatic fulfilment with live tracking links in Bulgaria
- Storefront in English, Croatian, Slovenian and Bulgarian
The Result
From zero Shopify presence to 300+ stores in three countries. Three years on, we still host, run and support both apps. Framework and security migrations, Shopify breaking changes absorbed before merchants notice, and critical fixes shipped the same day.
That is how we prefer to work. We build the product, run it in production and answer for it.
